Mackenzie Miller

Mackenzie Miller is a dynamic singer/songwriter whose unique sound seamlessly blends influences from indie, folk, pop, rock, and country music. Drawing inspiration from iconic songwriters like Taylor Swift and Paul McCartney, Mackenzie crafts music that resonates with emotional depth and authenticity. Her stand-out style has earned her comparisons to Jewel, Avril Lavigne, and Hayley Williams, capturing the essence of both heartfelt ballads and energetic anthems.

 

Mackenzie's love for music ignited at the tender age of three, when she took her first solo in a church choir. This early passion evolved into a lifelong commitment, with childhood afternoons spent passionately singing karaoke and scribbling lyrics into dozens of single-subject notebooks. Her early performances in church and relentless dedication to her craft set the stage for a vibrant career.

 

As a teenager, Mackenzie honed her skills by studying piano and guitar, mastering these instruments over a decade of practice. Her dedication to her craft was evident through numerous awards in vocal competitions and roles as a vocal worship leader in Covington/Maple Valley. Her experience extends to musical theater and jazz, having performed in several musicals and showcasing her versatile vocal range as an Alto/Mezzo Soprano with the Green River College Vocal Jazz Choir in 2017 and 2018.

 

Mackenzie's journey as a performer has taken her around the globe. Since the age of fourteen, she has graced the stages at a variety of venues worldwide, with a notable highlight being her full-band performance at the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool, UK, in 2022. This gig was part of a show she organized with her promotion company, Sunset Promotions, reflecting her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to her craft.

 

A graduate of The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, Mackenzie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Songwriting and Vocal Performance. Her studies provided her with a deep understanding of vocal and performance techniques, specializing in Musical Theatre, Jazz, and Pop vocals. During her time in Liverpool, she actively wrote new music daily and performed at numerous venues with her band, cementing her reputation as a talented and versatile artist.

Over the 17 years Mackenzie has been writing music, she has amassed a catalog of over 3,000 songs. Writing has always been her most beloved passion, and she continues to write on a daily basis. This fever for words led her to start writing custom songs for anyone looking to turn their lived experience or love story into a piece of music they can treasure forever.

Currently, Mackenzie balances her role as a full-time Music Director with her ongoing pursuit of a career as a singer/songwriter. Her passion for music and commitment to her craft continue to drive her forward, promising a future filled with compelling music and captivating performances.
